2009 Subaru Impreza
The Subaru Impreza became popular in the late 1990s as people were being introduced to the car winning on the dirt tracks throughout the world. While gaming systems also gave the car some important play. Thus, it is no wonder why the Impreza has a following of those that are dedicated to only the Subaru Impreza. The 2009 Subaru Impreza received quite a bit makeover. The year before the 2009 release, the company had decided to remodel everything, and needless to say customers were not too happy with the new image. So for 2009 Subaru gave the Impreza the hard edge that consumers want.
The 2009 Impreza received a hard core suspension system which does make the ride a bit rough. However, this is what those that are loyal consumers to Subaru wanted. IN addition, the crash testings for the 2009 Impreza were very impressive, and were some of the best in the category that the Impreza competes in. Driving wise, the car handles decently, as it is all wheel drive, so those that are not use to this type of drive train will find it a bit rough and hard to handle. It does decent in acceleration, which is another plus for those that are die hard fans. However, the fallout has to be the transmission. Subaru is still using a four speed manual transmission to move the car, which is by no means top of the line. However, for the most part people seem to be happy to have the 2009 Impreza just as it is. The ride itself is rather quiet because Subaru has taken the time to insulate the car by adding molding around the windows to keep the noise from penetrating the cabin of the car, which was the first time that Subaru had done this with any of their vehicles.
The only other aspects that professionals were worried about when it came to the 2009 Impreza was the lack of technology. There is no remote start, no Bluetooth capabilities, or any other of the features that other cars in the same category were offering to its customers. But, this did not seem to affect those that were wanting the Impreza, since it still sold in impressive numbers throughout the year, and up to this point in time.
Inside the 2009 Subaru Impreza, people will find that though it is a small car, there is still adequate room. The doors open up very wide to accommodate even the person with the longest legs to get into the vehicle. This also helps for those that haul things with them while that are driving the Impreza. There is adequate room for the driver and passengers in the car, including head room.
Overall, the Impreza for 2009 went back to what consumers wanted and because of this die hard followers were loving the 2009 models. Even today, the 2009 model is viewed as one of the best Impreza's that a person can buy, despite the view cons that professionals have pointed out about the car.
